Emerging music producer Juny B is making waves in the Kiribati music scene, blending his love for EDM with the sounds of the Pacific.
Originally from Tarawa, Abete Tebwaatoki is currently based in Brisbane, creating music alongside completing his studies in computer science.
The young artist started producing music in high school after a friend introduced him to some software.
Instantly hooked, Juny B told Nesia Daily he would spend so much time experimenting on recreating songs in "my own style."
"As a producer you're ultimately the songwriter as well because everything is in your hands, so I'm critical about everything."
With a number of strong collaborations in the playlist already with Elijah L, B-Krax, and Junior Bobby T, the I-Kiribati producer's advice to other musicians in the Pacific is "just keep doing it."
